The system (10) has a support beam (20) for attaching a hook (16) to a rotorcraft, where the beam includes a horizontal core (25) and two lateral sections (30). Each lateral section includes a web (31) connected to the core and presenting an obtuse angle relative to the core in a central space (100). Each section is intended to move closer to the core under the effect of vertical forces. A support element (50) includes a fitting (51) co-operating with the lateral sections. The fitting includes a spring element (54) for moving the hook away from a direction extending in the gravity direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for fastening an external load to a rotorcraft. |
