PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle including a torque converter, capable of improving the maximum driving force of the vehicle by determining the output responsiveness of an engine at a time of starting the vehicle and appropriately controlling the torque converter in response to the result of the determination.SOLUTION: A control device of a vehicle including an internal combustion engine, a transmission changing gear ratios to connect/disconnect the transmission of power output from the internal combustion engine; and a torque converter interposed between the internal combustion engine and the transmission, changes an internal pressure of the torque converter in response to output responsiveness of the internal combustion engine if a driver of the vehicle issues a predetermined starting command to require a driving force equal to or higher than a specified value. |
