DECLOGGING METHOD AND RELATED DEVICE SUBJECT TO CLOGGING

The present invention relates to the field of devices through which a flow of fluid passes and which are subject to clogging due to the impurities found in the fluid, the clogging producing an increased head loss over time, defined as the difference in fluid level between the downstream and upstream ends of the flow. The present invention relates more specifically to a method for carrying out automated declogging cycles. The activation of a given declogging cycle (CN) depends on the maximum head loss (ΔH1) measured during a previous declogging cycle (Cn-1). The method brings forward or delays the moment (t1) for activating the cycle (CN) according to whether the maximum head loss (ΔH1) was higher or lower, respectively, than a set value. The method also makes it possible to desynchronise the declogging cycles of a plurality of devices subject to clogging mounted in parallel. The invention can be used in particular in the screen rakes of a sewage treatment plant.
