<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an image forming apparatus using a fine powder developer from ejecting the floating toner to the outside and its functions from degrading due to the floating toner. <P>SOLUTION: An isolation wall 1 is provided to isolate the space housing a photoreceptor drum 3, a developing unit 2, a static charger 5, a transfer means 6, and a fixing means 8, from the outside open air.
