PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for examining a human being who has a symptom showing an autoimmune disease and/or a biomarker for atrophic gastritis.SOLUTION: At least one biomarker selected from groups of biomarkers including 1) pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, pepsinogen I/II ratio, gastrin-17 and Helicobacter pylori antibody, 2) pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, pepsinogen I/II ratio and gastrin-17, 3) pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II, pepsinogen I/II ratio, and Helicobacter pylori antibody, 4) pepsinogen I, pepsinogen II and pepsinogen I/II ratio, and 5) pepsinogen I is provided for the purpose of examining a human being who has a symptomatic or asymptomatic autoimmune disease, and for the purpose of examining a human being who has a symptom showing atrophic gastritis and/or a biomarker. |
