1. A protective case configured to removably receive and retain a mobile device having a front face and an opposing back face, a left side and an opposing right side, and a top side and an opposing bottom side, said protective case comprising:
a frame having a back panel configured to reside underneath the back face of the mobile device, the back panel being disposed with a channel; a stop component disposed on the back panel; and one or more impact sections disposed around the stop component, the impact sections being located alongside the back panel and slidably connected to the channel, wherein each of the impact sections, when subject to sufficient force, is configured to slide alongside the back panel along the channel, to which it is slidably connected, from a first position to a second position thereby communicating at least a portion of the force to the stop component. |
