PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively compensate for effect of Doppler shift.SOLUTION: A receiver 101 includes: a Doppler estimation device 11 for estimating a Doppler shift frequency fdc of a reception signal; a multiplier 12 and an LPF 13 for detecting the reception signal based on a carrier frequency fc of the reception signal and the Doppler shift frequency fdc estimated by the Doppler estimation device 11; a timing correction device 161 for correcting a timing T for extracting a symbol of the reception signal detected by the LPF 13, so as to track a Doppler shift; a symbol extraction device 14 for extracting the reception symbol at the timing corrected by the timing correction device 161, from the signal detected by the LPF 13; and an adaptive equalizer 15 for estimating and determining a symbol from the reception symbol extracted by the symbol extraction device 14.
