摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a piezoelectric ceramic composed of an A1B1O-based material added with BaMOwhich secures a high piezoelectric constant d33, although being a simple process.SOLUTION: A production method of a piezoelectric ceramic, includes the steps of: preparing a ceramic raw material powder consisting of a main raw material of formula (1) and an auxiliary material comprising MnO, in a blend ratio of 0.5-5 mol% of the auxiliary material to 100 mol% of the main raw material; forming the ceramic raw material powder into a molding; and reduction-baking the molding at 900-1,300°C in an atmosphere of an oxygen partial pressure of 1×10to 1×10kPa. Formula (1): A1B1O-sBaMO, where A1 is an element selected from alkali metals; B1 is one or more elements selected from transition metal elements and includes Nb; M is one or more elements of the group 4A and includes Zr; and 0.05<s&le;0.15.
