<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater with excellent energy efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater comprises, as additional heating function parts, hot water injecting means such as a hot water filling mixing valve 15a for injecting hot water in a hot water storage tank 10 into a bathtub 9, a hot water supply pipe 17a, a hot water filling on-off valve 2, and a bathtub inflow pipe 19; circulating means such as a circulation pump 7, a bathtub outflow pipe 18, and a bathtub inflow pipe 19; and an ECU 40 for controlling the mixing valve 15a, the on-off valve 2, and the circulation pump 7. In additional heating operation, the ECU 40 executes a control for operating the circulation pump 7, the on-off valve 2, and the mixing valve 15a and mixing and injecting bath water with high-temperature hot water in the hot water storage tank 10 into the bathtub 9 while circulating the bath water in a circulating circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
