PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a requested driving force even when occurrence of a closed circuit formation abnormality in which a closed circuit is formed in an inverter for driving a motor.

SOLUTION: When the abnormality occurs so that the inverter for driving the motor MG2 becomes a single-phase short circuit, the inverter is set to a three-phase short circuit (S100), a counter-electromotive-voltage-applied torque Tb applied to a driveshaft by a counter electromotive voltage generated with the rotation of the motor MG2 and a steering-angle-applied torque Ts depending on a steering angle θ are subtracted from a requested torque T* depending on the travel of an accelerator pedal to set an execution torque Tr* (S120 to S150), and an engine and an inverter for driving a motor MG1 are controlled to implement running on the execution torque Tr* (S160 to S200). A driving force output to the driveshaft by the engine and motor MG1 can thus match the requested torque T*.
