摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a continuous casting apparatus which can readily determine a state of a molten metal in a crucible. <P>SOLUTION: The continuous casting apparatus includes: a crucible 10 to which a material 13 to be melted is loaded; a material loading part 63 from which the material 13 to be melted is loaded; an induction heating coil 18 positioned in an outer circumference of the crucible 10 and heating the loaded material 13 to be melted to convert it into the molten metal 14; a melting power supply device 50 for supplying a current to the induction heating coil 18; a bottom plate elevating part L for extracting downwardly an ingot that is formed from the partially solidified molten metal 14; a frequency detection part 52 that is provided to detect a surface position of the molten metal 14 in the crucible 10 and detects a frequency of a supply current to the induction heating coil 18; and a control part 40 for controlling casting based on the detected value of the frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
