PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polarizing plate and a horizontal alignment type liquid crystal display device that have excellent visual field characteristics.SOLUTION: There is provided a laminated polarizing plate 5 having at least a first polarizing plate 1, a first optically anisotropic layer 3, and a second optically anisotropic layer 4 laminated in this order, where the first and second optically anisotropic layers satisfy predetermined in-plane retardation values and retardation values in the thickness direction at wavelengths of 450 nm, 550 nm, and 650 nm.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
