<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assembly system which improves the work efficiency per capita in a step where work-pieces are assembled to both side parts of an attachment object.SOLUTION: An assembly system 1 is used to assemble work-pieces W1, W2 to both side parts 2L, 2R of a vehicle body 2 (an attachment object). The assembly system 1 includes: a first workpiece placement base 10 in a first region S1; a second workpiece placement base 20 in a second region S2; and a workpiece transfer mechanism 30. First work-pieces W1 and second work-pieces W 2 may be placed on the first workpiece placement base 10. The workpiece transfer mechanism 30 includes a workpiece holding device 33 which reciprocates between the first region S1 and the second region S2. The workpiece holding device 33 holds the second work-pieces W2 placed on the first workpiece placement base 10 and places the second work-pieces W2 on the second workpiece placement base 20.</p> |
