<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for supplying an optical element material heated by heating gas to the pressurizng position accurately in the method and apparatus for manufacturing an optical element. <P>SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing an optical element includes: a heating step of heating an optical element material 100 by heating gas in a heating section 10; a feeding step of feeding the heated optical element material 100 between a first molding die (movable die 21) and a second molding die (movable die 31); a pressurizing step of pressurizing the fed optical element material 100 by the first molding die (21) and the second molding die (31); and a cooling step of cooling the pressurized optical element material 100; further includes a positioning step of positioning the optical element material 100 by abutting a positioning member 80 to the optical element material 100, where in the heating step, heating the optical element material 100 in a state positioned by the positioning member 80. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
