PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type check valve that suppress a decrease in backflow preventing function by reducing damage to a float while suppressing an increase in number of components.SOLUTION: A float type check valve includes an annular valve seat, a float, and three or more guide rods. The annular valve seat is open in a vertical direction and links an upstream side and a downstream side of a drain system to each other. The float is positioned below and downstream from the annular valve seat movably in the vertical direction, and moves up as the water level of drain water rises to close the annular valve seat and also moves down as the water level of the drain water falls to open the annular valve seat. The guide rods are rod bodies extending from the side of the annular valve seat to the side of the float, the rod bodies being arranged around the float, and each having a guide part which guides a vertical movement of the float and a restriction part located below the guide part to define a lower-limit position of the movement of the float. In plan view, a circle formed connecting respective definition parts of three or more guide rods has a diameter smaller than the external diameter of the float. |
