PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear part car body structure of a vehicle capable of assuring a sufficient EA amount as an entire rear part of the vehicle, without increase in the weight of a car body, by increasing the EA amount of a fitting member itself by controlling deformation of the fitting member in a box shape.SOLUTION: At each side surface part (11a) of a fitting member (10), below an upper end position of a front surface part (11b), a plastic deformation promotion part (13) is provided which is a starting point of a plastic deformation of the fitting member (10) when the fitting member (10) is subjected to a rear collision load from behind. |
