PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reactor that can increase teh reaction efficiency and implement reduction in cost.SOLUTION: A reactor has a first base material, an electrolytic layer supported on the first base material, a first electrode and a second electrode which are provided on a principal surface at the opposite side to the first base material out of principal surfaces of the electrolytic layer, and a second base material which has a first groove and a second groove and covers the first electrode and the second electrode. The second base material is disposed on the electrolytic layer so that the first groove and the second groove confront the first electrode and the second electrode. The electrolytic layer has a thickness ranging from not less than 500 nm to not more than 5 μm, and the distance between the first electrode and the second electrode is substantially equal to the thickness of the electrolytic layer. |
