PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device capable of facilitating data copy with another storage device.SOLUTION: When detecting a connection to another image storage device, an USB connection detection module (224) activates a data transmission/reception control module (212). The data transmission/reception control module (212) determines whether the module itself will act as a transmitter with another storage device acting as a receiver or another storage device will act as a transmitter with the module itself acting as a receiver. As a transmitter, the data transmission/reception control module (212) transmits data to another storage device in a predetermined format. As a receiver, the data transmission control module converts data received in a predetermined format from another storage device for storage. |
