The present invention relates to a streetlight control device and a method thereof. Particularly, the present invention relates to a control device for controlling a streetlight of a social security system and a method thereof. Especially, a streetlight control device includes a communication control part for controlling a communication module which communicates with a social security system, a power control part which controls the power supply of the streetlight and the communication module, a monitoring part which detects the operation of the streetlight and the communication module and detects the generation of errors, a data processing part which stores and manages data transmitted/received by the communication module and data detected by the monitoring part, and a streetlight control part which controls the operation of the streetlight. |
