PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for designing a high voltage DC power transmission system for enabling a standardized design that reflects a history on past operations in an HVDC system.SOLUTION: A device for designing a high voltage DC transmission (HVDC) system has an HVDC system operation information acquiring unit for acquiring operation information of a previous HVDC system from a control part of the previous HVDC system, a design specification acquiring unit for acquiring a design specification of the previous HVDC system, a design request specification acquiring unit for acquiring a design request specification of a present HVDC system, and an HVDC system designing unit for designing the present HVDC system on the basis of the design specification of the previous HVDC system, the operation information of the previous HVDC system and the design request specification of the present HVDC system. |
