摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply device for an electric vehicle enabling reduction in system-switching time.SOLUTION: A power supply device for an electric vehicle includes a first invertor circuit, a first filter capacitor, an electric discharge circuit, a second invertor circuit, a system switch and a control unit. The first invertor circuit transforms direct-current input into alternating-current output. The first filter capacitor is connected to the direct-current input of the first invertor. The discharge circuit discharges electric charge of the first filter capacitor. The second invertor circuit transforms the direct-current input to alternating-current output. The system switch outputs either one of the alternating-current output of the first invertor circuit or the alternating-current output of the second invertor circuit after selection. The control unit performs switching operation of the system switch after stopping the first invertor circuit, without waiting for discharge completion of the first filter capacitor by the discharge circuit.
