PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a communication device to simply provide a communication parameter regardless of the format of a communication parameter request by an opposite device.SOLUTION: A communication device having a function to provide a communication parameter for another communication device controls the communication parameter provision function so as to provide the communication parameter for the other communication device in the case of receiving a first signal from the other communication device, and to provide the communication parameter to the other communication device even in the case of not receiving the first signal if a second signal is received from the other communication device during a first period.
