[Solution] A transfer assistance device (1) comprises: a main body (3); a central holder (2), which is supported on the main body (3) so as to move up and down; a first pair of arm members (4, 4), which are connected on the front side of the central holder (2) so as to rotate with the central holder (2) as the central axis; a second pair of arm members (5, 5), which are connected on the back side of the central holder (2) so as to rotate with the central holder (2) as the central axis; and a control unit (50) configured so as to control the raising and lowering movements of the central holder (2), the rotational movements of the first arm members (4), and the rotational movement of the second arm members (5) independently of each other. |
