A high order modulation and demodulation device, method and system relate to the field of communications, and achieve modulation and demodulation which can support multi-layer encoding and have a low peak-to-average power ratio and a good anti-white noise and phase noise property. The specific scheme is: receiving a transmitted original bit stream, and converting the original bit stream into M parallel bits, wherein high order modulation is 2M order modulation; performing channel encoding on N bits encoded in the M parallel bits according to preset encoding bit and coset bit distribution to acquire N encoding bits; the N encoding bits and (M-N) coset bits being generated into a modulation symbol; and outputting the modulation symbol in a mapping manner according to a preset mapping rule, so that constellation points of a constellation diagram corresponding to the modulation symbol with the same coset bit match Gray mapping, and the constellation points in the constellation diagram are distributed as a similar round with irregular edges. |
