PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure intended traveling performance by inhibiting a change in current, resulting from a change in the voltage of a motor.SOLUTION: A vehicle drive control device comprises: an engine 13 that drives front wheels 12FL, 12FR; an electric motor 14 that drives rear wheels 12RL, 12RR; and a generator 17 that generates power by obtaining power of the engine 13, and supplies the electric motor 14 with the power thus generated. Additionally, the control device generates a magnetic field current command value Ifc for the generator 17 and controls power generation according to this magnetic field current command value Ifc. Then, the control device estimates an amount &Dgr;V of change in the voltage of the electric motor 14, and corrects the magnetic field current command value Ifc according to this amount &Dgr;V of change in the voltage. The amount &Dgr;V of change in the voltage of the electric motor 14 is estimated according to the voltage change speed E' of the electric motor 14 and the response time constant Ts of the generator 17. |
