An electronic cigarette and an air intake volume regulating method for the electronic cigarette. The electronic cigarette comprises an electronic cigarette body. Provided at one extremity of the electronic cigarette body is a mouthpiece component (1), also provided are at least one atomizing component (2) used for atomizing an e-liquid and a battery component (3) used for supplying power to each atomizing component. The electronic cigarette body is also provided with a connecting element (4). A regulating element (5) capable of rotating in the circumferential direction of the connecting element (4) is sleeved on the exterior of the connecting element (4). A first air inlet channel for inflow of gases from the external is provided on the regulating element (5). A second air inlet channel in communication with the first air inlet channel and with a smoke channel is provided on the connecting element (4). The regulating element (5) rotates in the circumferential direction of the connecting element (4) to regulate an air-flowing area at where the first air inlet channel is connected to the second air inlet channel. The electronic cigarette body also comprises a positioning structure movably connected to the regulating element (5) and used for limiting the air-flowing area of different knob positions. The electronic cigarette is convenient to carry, has adjustable air intake volume, and is capable of preventing the regulating element from being erroneously touched and thereby altering airflow volume. |
