PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle in which: in indicating the same indicator part having different scale intervals by rotating a pointer, the pointer can be smoothly rotated to indicate the indicator part without impairing merchantability.SOLUTION: A display device 1 for a vehicle according to the present invention includes: input means 5 for receiving the input of vehicle information; an indicator 3 that comprises indicators 3a and 3b having scale intervals with at least two different resolutions; a pointer 2 that indicates the indicator 3; and pointer driving means 4 for determining an indicated value Xwith a delay from the vehicle information input to the input means 5 and causing the pointer 2 to indicate a position on the indicator 3 corresponding to the indicated value X. The pointer driving means 4 changes the degree of delay N according to the indicators 3a and 3b having the scale intervals of the indicator corresponding to the indicated value X.
