PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas heat exchanger (1) for an automobile, which comprises: a heat exchange channel (3) accommodating and enclosing a bypass pipe (2) and which is arranged with an adjusting flap (6) for guiding an exhaust gas flow through the heat exchange channel (3) or the bypass pipe.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas heat exchanger is characterized in that: an adjusting flap (6) has one opening (8) with a socket-shaped section (9); at a bypass position, the socket-shaped section (9) so contacts the entrance (10) of a bypass pipe (2) as to pass a flow; and the adjusting flap (6) can turn from the bypass position to a transfer position to close that entrance (10). |
