PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a communication method capable of continuously providing data transmission service even when a problem occurs in a communication channel in a network system constituted of plural computers.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 10 includes: a data type determination section 11 that determines the data type of a data which is arithmetic-processed by an application 2 of a computer 1; a communication channel determination section 13 that determines a communication channel to be used from plural communication channels A and B based on the determine result; a protocol conversion section 16 that converts the protocol to a protocol which is compatible to the determined data type and communication channel; and plural transmission-reception sections 18a and 18b each of which transmits and receives the data converted into the protocol. |
