PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid electric vehicle drive unit control unit capable of suppressing the reverse rotation of an engine at a time of back driving.SOLUTION: If a brake BK2 cannot be engaged at a time of back driving, a clutch CL2 is engaged, a rotation speed of a first motor-generator MG1 is determined so that a speed of an engine 12 is a value within a specified normal rotation range, and a second motor-generator MG2 is caused to generate a negative torque. Owing to this, even if the brake BK2 cannot be engaged due to the occurrence of abnormality to the brake BK2 or the like, appropriate back driving can be realized without the occurrence of the reverse rotation of the engine 12. That is, it is possible to provide an electronic control unit of a driving device 10 for suppressing the reverse rotation of the engine 12 at a time of back driving. |
