Disclosed are a system, device and method for implementing a ring back tone service. The system for implementing a ring back tone service comprises a first server and a second server. The first server is configured to connect with a called terminal in response to a call from a calling terminal, and trigger the second server to play a ring back tone for the calling terminal. The second server is configured to play the ring back tone for the calling terminal in response to the triggering of the first server. By means of the embodiments of the present invention, the security of the ring back tone service is improved, and the network deployment cost is reduced.
