<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently develop each software (application) corresponding to a printer, a copying machine, a facsimile machine, etc., and to improve the productivity of a device as a whole. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device includes hardware resources and is provided with user services related to image formation processing. The device includes a platform which is can mounting a plurality of applications for performing eigen-processing upon each user service, which is interposed between the applications and the hardware resources, and which performs management, execution control, image formation processing and job generation of the hardware resources that at least two of the applications require in common, when providing the user services.
