PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a Japanese-style annular pancake which can be easily cut with chopsticks or the like, with the original appearance being maintained; and a Japanese-style annular pancake produced by the method.SOLUTION: The production method of a Japanese-style annular pancake includes: arranging, on a heated iron plate, a mold for cooking a Japanese-style pancake that has an outer ring 52 with an annular vertical wall, a cylindrical inner ring 54 having a smaller diameter than the outer ring and disposed approximate at the center of the outer ring, and a bridge 58 for connecting the outer ring and the inner ring at the respective upper ends; pouring a batter 13 for the Japanese-style pancake between the outer ring and the inner ring; removing the mold 50 for the Japanese-style pancake after the batter has been cooked sufficiently; and turning the batter upside down for cooking both sides of the batter. |
