The objective of the present invention is to provide a transportation apparatus which can transport stacked articles without changing an apparatus configuration and also can correct and prevent a displacement of the stacked articles to be transported with a simple apparatus configuration. For this, the transportation apparatus comprises a chucking device (20) for gripping a tray (80) under the state that the tray is stacked. The chucking device (20) is provided with an overhead carriage (10) for transporting the tray (80) gripped by the chucking device (20). The chucking device (20) comprises a gripping part (21) for gripping the tray (80), and a sensor (23) for detecting the tray (80) gripped by the gripping part (21). The gripping part (21) is configured such that the gripping operation of the gripping part (21) on the tray (80) is controlled on the basis of detection of the sensor (23), and correct and prevent a displacement of the stacked tray (80). |
