Method of determining constant of hydroabrasive cutting of materials Kawj is characterized in that only one parameter is measured according to the version C i.e. propagation rate of ultrasound ViLUZ [m/s], whereby the Kawj constant is calculated from corresponding deformation parameters, or according to the version D the design of the entire technology is carried out by calculation of the Kawj constant according to the propagation rate of ultrasound ViLUZ of the cut material. Subsequently, the constant of hydroabrasive cutting of materials Kawj of the version C or D is put down as an input value into algorithm for the abrasive waterjet cutting technology. The result of the calculation using the algorithm is the very quick acquiring of a, from the technological point of view, sufficient amount of numerical and graphical data, which are required for the optimum setting of main technology parameters and are generally valid for all engineering materials, and further of data on cut quality, on limit depth of cuts and economical parameters, and also on mechanical properties of the cut material with regard to the classification of the material into working property class Tcut, and the standardization of technological process. |
