1. An information processing apparatus which refers to a stack, and determines a screen to be displayed on a display unit, the apparatus comprising:
an obtaining unit configured to obtain an input signal of an event which serves as a trigger of screen transition of a screen displayed on the display unit; a storage unit configured to store, in each of a plurality of groups to which priorities are previously set, the stack which is for identifying a screen which is a candidate of a transition destination of the screen transition, according to the input signal obtained by the obtaining unit; and a control unit configured to determine a representative screen of each of the plurality of groups, based on a position in the stack where information indicating the screen is stored, and display on the display unit a representative screen of a group which is assigned the highest priority among the plurality of groups.
