PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical device for stapling and fastening body tissues with which a part to be a blind spot is easily reliably stapled and the stapled part is reliably confirmed. SOLUTION: The cartridge 255 and anvil 256 of a staple are supported so as to be openable/closable by a jaw 254 at the end of an insertion part 253 which is connected to a grasping part 252 at this side. An observation optical system 257 is arranged at the end of the anvil 256. The implement is also provided with a knife 262 for resecting the tissue that is sewed at a joint surface between the cartridge 255 and the anvil 256.
