APPARATUS FOR PYROLYSIS CARBONIZING OF LOW-GRADE COAL

The present invention relates to a pyrolysis carbonizing apparatus for low-grade coal and a method thereof. A rotation drum continuously pyrolyzes and carbonizes the low grade coal through an installed heating furnace. A spiral baffle is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the rotation drum to increase the high temperature heat supplied to the heating furnace and a heat transference rate according to the rotation of the drum so high temperature exhaust gas progresses while the drum rotates. An introduction chamber part as a space with an expanded diameter is formed on a part of the heating furnace, which is connected to a burner to allow the exhaust gas of the burner to be diffused and progress, thereby preventing only a part of the rotation drum from being heated at a high temperature. According to the present invention, the heat transference rate is improved, thereby reducing the amount of energy consumed for carbonizing the low grade coal.
