摘要 The invention relates to a method and an equipment for controlling the geometry of surfaces machined by chip removal. The claimed method consists of a first stage for evaluating the dimensional deviation (ΔL) in a machining point by measuring the total force (F), defined as a sum of two components, the first component (F) resulting from elastic deformation and the second component (F) resulting from the chip removal process, the relation between the total force (F) and the deviation (ΔL) depending on the elastic constant (K) of an elastic element (b) of a tool holder, by means of which a tool is fixed on a machine-tool performing the chip removal, and on a function (f) determined by measurements performed during previous machining operations, followed by a second stage for compensating the dimensional deviation (ΔL) by displacing the tool with the opposite of said deviation, said displacement being carried out by means of a piezoelectric motor. The claimed equipment comprises a tool-holder (1) separated into two areas (a and c) by means of a third area (b) which can be elastically deformed, one or several pairs of piezoelectric elements being mounted between the two areas (a and c), each pair consisting of a piezoelectric transducer (4) for measuring the force and a piezoelectric motor (7), separated by an intermediary element (5).
