The invention relates to a device (D) which is intended for treating air for a chamber (H) of a system (V). Said device (D) includes a vessel (RL) storing a liquid, treatment means (MT) arranged such as to transform said liquid into small drops, diffusion means (MD) arranged such as to diffuse said small drops in the chamber (H), production means (MP) arranged such as to produce ozone on-demand from ingoing air, and control means (MC) arranged such as to organise said ozone production during a selected time period, and to control the transfer of said ozone produced into the vessel (RL) in order to sanitise the vessel (RL) and the liquid.
