The present invention provides a battery pack, which includes a battery cell assembly where two or more battery cells are connected in series or in parallel; a protection circuit module (PCM) which is electrically connected to the battery assembly; and a case member which surrounds the outer surface of the battery assembly and the PCM. The case member comprises a member which integrally surrounds the outer surface of the battery assembly and the PCM. The case member is partly opened, so a part of the outer surface of the battery cell assembly is exposed to the outside through the opened part.
