A brake device is disclosed. The brake device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a master cylinder generating necessary hydraulic pressure by the pedal pressure of a pedal, wherein hydraulic oil is stored; a wheel cylinder installed on a wheel to receive the hydraulic oil from the master cylinder and hold the wheel; a supply line for supplying the hydraulic oil from the master cylinder; and a recovery line for recovering the hydraulic oil from the wheel cylinder to the master cylinder. The recovery line is closed in a brake mode, and is opened in a vapor lock prevention mode. The hydraulic oil moves in the recovery direction through the recovery line and does not move in the opposite direction.
