PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe damaged part encapsulation band fixing tool for repairing the pipe damaged part and a method for fixing a pipe damaged part encapsulation band.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a pipe damaged part encapsulation band fixing tool for repairing the pipe damaged part. The encapsulation band is constituted by segments of a plurality of thin plates divided into several bands and segments where both connecting portions in a peripheral direction are formed into wedges. The fixing tool forms a stationary receiving part, at least at one end part, so as to held both ends in a cylindrical direction of the encapsulation band and the wedges at intermediate part, the movable receiving segments are movable through a handle operation, the stationary receiving segments of the fixing tool is abutted against one end side of the encapsulation band in its cylindrical direction and at the same time the movable receiving segments are abutted against the wedges to hold the wedges, both receiving segments are approached to each other through the handle operation to cause the wedges to be inserted between the encapsulation bands. |
