PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubrication device of an internal combustion engine which surely raises a temperature of a lubricant at a start, and can suppress an excessive rise of the temperature of the lubricant after warmup.SOLUTION: This lubrication device of an internal combustion engine pressure-sends a lubricant in an oil pan by an oil pump, and supplies it to each part of the internal combustion engine. In the lubrication device, there is formed a sub-oil passage which takes out the lubricant from a downstream side of a relief valve which is valve-opened when the pressure of the lubricant which is pressure-sent from the oil pump is not lower than prescribed pressure, does not supply excessive lubricant to each part of the internal combustion engine, and returns the lubricant to the oil pan, and supplies the taken-out lubricant to a heated part in an upper part of an engine which is quickly heated after a start. |
