PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display panel with excellent display qualities which achieves broadening a viewing angle.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel includes: an array substrate including a plurality of pixel electrodes 34 and a first vertical alignment layer; a counter substrate including a counter electrode 41 and a second vertical alignment layer; and a negative type liquid crystal layer. The counter electrode 41 has a plurality of first notches 71 and second notches 72. The pixel electrode 34 has third notches 73 located between the first notches 71 in a plan view. At least one of parts of the first notches 71, the second notches 72 and the third notches 73 is formed to be broader along an extending direction thereof. |
