PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monkey wrench capable of restraining a backlash and looseness of not only a slide body but also an operation body, in the present invention.SOLUTION: A monkey wrench 10 of the present invention comprises: a wrench body 20 having a fixed jaw 21 projected on the tip, a slide hole 26 formed in the width direction, an operation window 27 communicated with the slide hole and penetratingly opened on the base end side more than the slide hole and an engaging hole 28 recessed in the width direction of the operation window; a slide body 30 having a movable jaw 31 and a rack shaft 32 formed on the base end of the movable jaw and carving a rack 34, that is, the slide body for slidably fitting the rack shaft to the slide hole; an operation body 40 having a worm gear 41 meshing with the rack and facing out the peripheral edge from the operation window and a worm shaft 42 penetrating through the worm gear and fitted to the engaging hole 28; and energization means 50 for energizing the operation body toward the slide body. |
