Disclosed are a Chinese language learning system and a method thereof which enable people in each country who are not native Chinese speaker to easily memorize Chinese words. The Chinese language learning system includes: a Chinese word information storage unit which stores Chinese words with intonation information for the same; an image information storage unit which stores images matched with each Chinese word stored in the Chinese word information storage unit; an English sentence information storage unit which stores English sentences matched with each Chinese word stored in the Chinese word information storage unit; and a control unit which combines a requested Chinese word, an image matched with the Chinese word, and an English sentence matched with the Chinese word when there is a request from a user terminal, and provides the Chinese word, the image matched with the Chinese word, and the English sentence matched with the Chinese word which are combined to the user terminal. The image, stored in the image information storage unit, includes at least one from a person, an animal, and an object. Intonation of the matched Chinese word is expressed through a facial expression of the person, the animal, or the personified object. Therefore, the user can learn Chinese words and intonation with expression of an image of a person, an animal, and a personified object while associating a situation of the image with an English sentence. Accordingly, the user can memorize the Chinese words for a long time. |
