The present invention relates to a laser device and a control method thereof, capable of outputting a laser beam having a pulse width, lower than microsecond. According to the present invention, the laser device includes a laser oscillating part inducing and discharging light, emitted from the outside, to one of first and second laser beams by pumping the light; a first optical unit penetrating one of the first and second laser beams, oscillated by the laser oscillating part, and reflecting the other one; a sensing unit sensing one of the first and second laser beams, reflected by the first optical unit, by being placed in a transverse direction of an optical axis direction of the laser beams, oscillated by the laser oscillating part; and a second optical unit placed between the laser oscillating part and the first optical unit, and converting one of the first and second laser beams into a laser beam, penetrating the first optical unit, based on the signal, sensed by the sensing unit. |
