The invention provides a tool (10) for measuring the ovality of the cross section of a pipe (2), which comprises a pair of opposite first end and second end (11/12) along a main axis (X). The tool (10) can be rectilinearly prolonged and shortened between the first end and second end (11/12) of the tool along the main axis (X). Each end of the first end and second end (11/12) of the tool (10) comprises a pair of left side part and right side part (11C/12C) along the inner wall (22) of an abutting pipe (20) of the cross section of the pipe at the basically symmetrical position which is opposite to the main axis (X). The tool (10) can further move to the left side and the right side of the main axis (X) passing through a central position at a certain angle between the first end and second end (11/12), and the first end and second end (11/12) are aligned with each other along the main axis (X) in the central position. The tool (10) is provided with an indicator (400) for indicating the central position. |
