Provided is a fluid transport device capable of reducing size and cost. A waste-ink recovery device (1) serving as a fluid transport device is equipped with: a tubing pump (40) for transporting waste ink to a recovery vessel and rotating around an axial center due to a motor; a channel member (30) for guiding the waste ink to the tubing pump (40); a channel selection means (50); and a one-way clutch (70). The channel selection means (50) has an operation member (53) for opening and closing the channel inside the channel member (30), and an eccentric cam (54) for making the operation member (53) open and close the channel inside the channel member (30). When the tubing pump (40) rotates in one direction (D1) for transporting the waste ink to the recovery vessel, the one-way clutch (70) restricts the transmission of the tubing pump (40) rotations to the eccentric cam (54). When the tubing pump (40) rotates in another direction (D2) opposite the one direction (D1), the one-way clutch (70) rotates the eccentric cam (54) by allowing the transmission of the tubing pump (40) rotations to the eccentric cam (54). |
